The Plant Manager oversees the manufacturing divisions of the company, ensuring the effective and efficient use of the facility and staff.
ERI is in search of a hard-working, high-energy career-minded individual with a passion for excellence.
This is an on-site position.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Oversee schedules and assignments for each production department with consideration for demand, resources, training, labor costs and material availability, Understands and promptly assists with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting strategies, and equipment downtime scheduling.
Reviews and creates production reports and provides results to management team.
Assist management team with long range operating goals, expansion efforts.
, facility layout, and equipment purchases.
Appraises, motivates, and directs staff to ensure continued leadership development and professionalism, sets objectives, monitors progress, and conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Assists with discipline and termination of employees as needed.
Oversees the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
Oversees inventory to ensure it is accurately recorded.
Purchases supplies and materials.
Prepares and conducts weekly supervisor meeting.
Assists with company food and safety audits by being HACCP certified or become certified within first ninety days (company provided training).
Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with the quality and safety staff.
Conducts training and certification of forklift and scissor lifts.
Follow all GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and Food Safety and Quality Policies Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge:
Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Strong mechanical aptitude At least five years of experience in industrial management required.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Strong planning and organization skills Bilingual is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
Thorough understanding of policies and procedures.
Must be team-oriented and work well with others in an environment requiring a high degree of flexibility.
Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.
Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals.
Ability to promote problem-solving through a team approach and support innovation.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to walk, talk and hear frequently.
Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat to maintain equipment.
